Welcome to Wine Blog with A Dog, where we are going to uncork some of the hidden gems of U.S. winemaking one region at a time.  If you're a wine lover, sommelier, or just someone who's tired of seeing the same Old World and California selections on every Las Vegas wine list, you're in the right place.

Join our blog, with Annie (my spirited two-year old golden retriever), and Lucy (my more serious five-year-old mini golden doodle) as we explore obscure and famous wine regions across the United States.  Annie, much like a crisp and lively Sauvignon Blanc, is full of energy and curiousity, and thinks "everyone in the vineyard is there to see her".  Lucy, on the other hand, is like a smooth, well-aged Pinot Noir - graceful, mellow, and charming, savoring the journey with a more calm yet joyful presence.  Together, we uncover dog-friendly vineyards and exceptional wines, blending adventure and flovor into every stop on the journey.

I'm on a mission to explore the incredible diversity of wines crafted in all fifty states-because let's face it, no body has the time to study them all.  I maybe I won't either.  But here goes, together with the dog, we're hitting the road to meet winemakers, sip their creations, and share stories behind America's underappreciated vineyards.
